Magazine freebies

I'm a sucker for magazine cover mounted freebies, love 'em. Even if I don't like the magazine that much I'll buy them for the gift. Particularly if they are groovy handbag sized notebooks - the recent pink faux skin one from Woman & Home looks expensive and I really do keep it in my handbag.

This month I got an umbrella (can't recall the mag), two silk Hobbs scarves from Marie Claire and two beauty bags from Elle, neither of which I read otherwise.

But, I do get miffed if the freebie is useless. I tried fitting into the smaller bag a small Vaseline pot, lip palette, Haymax, and a Lancome juicy tube and could barely do the zip up! The bigger bag is just as bad, I mean, what on earth can you put in it apart from your expenses receipts? Ah, actually, now that's a good idea...
